Business Growth The
EASy Way
To build an outstanding business, it is necessary to keep
finding and developing new opportunities that will keep you
standing out from the crowd.
There is no status quo in business. It is a living entity.
To remain healthy, it must change and grow. Studies show
that you will lose 10% of your customers every year. They
move, they go under, change ownership, change suppliers, and
their needs change and so must yours. Consequently, you have
to plan to find 10% new business every year simply to stand
still. To achieve that, you need to either find retailers
opening new locations or steal accounts away from your
competition. Meanwhile, your competitors have to do
precisely the same thing. Only they are trying to steal your
customers!
No matter how you cut it, you have to grow just to break
even with last year. And let’s face it, none of us got into
business to simply break even. We got here because we can
make a difference--a difference in service, a difference in
pricing, and a difference in product selection.
Is your business growing?
Whether you are new to the POS/cash register industry or an
established enterprise, you owe it to yourself—and your
bottom line—to be on the lookout for new growth
opportunities. But how do you differentiate yourself from
other dealers selling the same or similar products? To
paraphrase a common business idiom, it is necessary to “look
outside the cash box”.
Wouldn’t it be great if you could take on an unique product
line that is in much demand, highly profitable, and non
competitive. Also wouldn’t it be great if that new
opportunity seamlessly blends with your existing business
supporting your existing customer base and developing new
markets for both current and new products?
The new line can and should offer you unlimited growth
potential by allowing you to tap into new markets. It should
also be supported within your existing structure. And, of
course, above all else it must be profitable.
Shoplifting prevention equipment, specifically Electronic
Article Surveillance or EAS, is one opportunity many POS
detailers are turning to a supplier who offers these types
of synergies.
